This was a shoreline restoration project in Sarasota, and we wanted to share the before and after pictures using geotextile tubes.

Florida Shoreline dredged sand and silt from within the lake and pumped it into geotextile tubes on the shoreline.  We then sodded over the tubes resulting in the new shoreline extending approximately 6 feet further into the lake.

This process is both environmentally friendly and typically costs less than other shoreline restoration methods.
